Experienced restaurant marketing and strategic professional brings extensive background to this well-known advisory firm

Neil Naroff, former Chief Strategic Officer of American Blue Ribbon Holdings has been appointed a managing partner with the restaurant consulting firm Reconstruction Partners. Mr. Naroff brings his extensive restaurant experience in marketing, advertising and strategic planning to the firm that specializes in restaurant turn-around, acquisition and investment.

While at American Blue Ribbon Holdings, Mr. Naroff was responsible for establishing and maintaining the strategic direction and brand positioning for each of the portfolio of concepts including O’Charley’s, Village Inn, Bakers Square and Ninety-Nine Restaurants. He also headed the shared-services Guest Relations and Insight department, the Digital and Social department, was leader of the Crisis Management team and supervised the corporate Public Relations function.

Prior to joining ABRH, Naroff was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for a number of restaurant organizations including Marie Callender’s, Souper Salad, Grandy’s and Lyons Restaurants. As Director of Marketing he oversaw the field marketing department of Carl’s Jr. Restaurants. His advertising agency background includes senior management positions at Tracy-Locke Advertising overseeing the Taco Bell account, DDB/Needham heading the Del Taco business. He also was account executive at Leo Burnett Chicago for McDonald’s, Steak & Ale and Bennigan’s Restaurants.
